What's Your Story?

C'mon folks...let's make this a little more interactive... :)

1. How would you define your spritiual environment upbringing?
2. How has that shaped your thinking on spiritual issues today?

Let's get this blog party started.

  1. 1. Forced, unnatural, "do as I say, not as I do", insincere (but wanting to be sincere deep inside, I believe they wanted to be).

    2. I still fight the "need" to "DO" sometimes, instead of just enjoying God's grace and the KNOWING that I am a changed person, because of Christ, and just following His lead as to how I should grow as His child.

  2. If it hadn’t been for my very dedicated to Christ and church-going grandmother, my spiritual upbringing would have been non-existent. While it was limited, it was affecting and permanent. Countless times, I have left His side and countless times He welcomed me back while always reminding me of the first fact that I can remember hearing about Jesus. It was the very simplest arrangement of words. Three to be exact. Yet it remains to be one of the most perpetually profound statements I have ever heard. What my heart knew then that me and my head have been discovering ever since is that His complete and redemptive work on the cross and His incomprehensible mercy and grace is what caused me to believe upon a most unbelievable statement in the first place! The statement? Jesus Loves You.
